Minimal tracking by design

Spotboard does not use third-party advertising cookies. We use only what is needed for sign-in, security, and product functionality.

1. What we use

Firebase Authentication cookies — keep you signed in securely.
Local storage — remembers your upvote state (`spotboard_upvotes`) on your device.
Cloudflare security cookies — bot protection and edge routing (when enabled).

2. What we do not do

No sale of personal data to ad networks.
No cross-site retargeting pixels on public leaderboard pages.
No dark-mode tracking profiles — strict light-mode product UI only.

3. Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Signing out removes Firebase session tokens. For data deletion requests, email care@spotboard.space.
